IMG_2913.jpeg

"Hi! I'm Emma and I help individuals who feel lost or unfulfilled to reconnect with their most authentic self. Through this highly supportive process, I will help you uncover what’s been holding you back, enable you to gain clarity on what truly matters to you, and support you to take intentional steps toward a life that feels both balanced and fulfilling. My approach is grounded in ancient wisdom, practical tools and self-awareness, creating a space where real transformation can happen, from the inside out."

In addition to my work as a mentor, I am also an experienced yoga teacher and wellness facilitator. My personal journey significantly shaped my passion for wellness. During my teens and early twenties, I faced personal challenges which led to a highly dysregulated nervous system and poor mental health. For many years, I was trapped in a cycle of negative thought and destructive behaviour patterns which felt impossible to break. However, through the transformative practice of yoga, which eventually led to me doing my own necessary inner work, I have not only overcome these obstacles, but I am now thriving. Inspired by my own progress, I sought to share the benefits with others. An individual in my yoga class, who had also begun the practice in a bid to improve their mental health, became my first client. The results were outstanding, prompting more and more people to reach out for support. From there, the INNER WORK was born.

I have spent my entire adult life working in either supportive or therapeutic roles. Although no longer practising, I am a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) where I specialised in autism. As an SLT, I regularly co-created personalised development plans for my clients, using Therapy Outcome Measures as a tool to monitor progress. In 2020, I transitioned from my role as an SLT to become specialist advocate for family carers of adults with learning disabilities and autism. I have supported many families through highly distressing court proceedings, and worked closely alongside multi-disciplinary teams of professionals to ensure the care and protection of countless vulnerable adults. I now work as a specialist mentor for neurodivergent higher education students, providing regular in-person and virtual support in relation to mental health, emotional wellbeing, social communication and executive dysfunction. I have over fifteen years experience supporting autistic young people and adults, as well as those with diagnoses such as ADHD, PTSD, c-PTSD and dyslexia.

I would describe myself as a fun loving, enthusiastic individual who prefers raw honesty over pleasantries and formality. I have found that being authentically me  helps my clients to feel safe enough to remove whatever mask they may be wearing and begin reveal their truest, innermost self. This is the starting point for real, lasting change and I can't wait to meet you there.

“Her personality is a perfect mix of wit, creativity, and genuine warmth. She’s quick, sharp, and always ready with a clever remark, but beneath that humour is a deeply caring and compassionate nature. She feels things intensely and honestly, which makes her incredibly real and easy to connect with. She’s also effortlessly creative, bringing fresh ideas and unique perspectives to everything she does. There’s an openness and authenticity about her that draws people in, and whether she’s making someone laugh or offering support, she does it with a rare kind of sincerity. She’s confident, passionate, and unapologetically herself.”
