RAPID REGULATION
This collection of six short guided practices is designed for the moments when anxiety appears suddenly and you need support right away. Rather than analysing the anxiety or trying to think your way out of it, these practices focus on simple body-based ways of helping the nervous system settle in real time.
Each practice introduces a different approach: from grounding through the senses, to working with the breath, releasing tension held in the body, interrupting spiralling thoughts, easing night-time anxiety, and making sense of what the body is experiencing. The aim is not to eliminate anxiety instantly, but to help you move from overwhelm back toward steadiness and safety.
Over time, using these practices can help retrain the nervous system to recognise that anxious sensations are manageable and temporary. They offer practical, compassionate tools you can return to whenever anxiety arises, or to practice in the absence of anxiety, so that you know what to do in those difficult moments.
